Installing 12C++: In order to minimize download size, no installation program is included with 12C++. To install: 1) Create the subdirectory where you wish 12C++ to be. This can be any new or existing directory, and DOES NOT need to be in the computer's PATH statement. 2) Use PKUNZIP (or similar program) to UNZIP the file 12CPP.ZIP in the new directory. 3) From Program Manager (or similar windows shell), pick FILE | NEW | Program Item to add the icon for sTOP tHAT. 4) Enter the path to the directory where you placed 12CPP.EXE. Upgrading from a previous version of 12C++: Simply copy the program files to the directory where the previous version was. If you registered a previous version, and the new version is Shareware, THE NEW VERSION WILL NOT BE REGISTERED! Contact Wave with your previous registration if you wish to upgrade. What if I want to uninstall the program? All Wave Software programs are designed to run independently of any system modifications. Your AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI, and SYSTEM.INI files are not changed in any way by our products. To uninstall a Wave Software program, simply delete the program files. In some cases, there will be a private .INI file in the windows directory. The .INI file will have the name of the Wave application program as its name. This file may also be deleted. What do I get if I register? The price is $19.95. If you register 12C++, you will receive an unlock code. This code will show that the program has been registered on the start up splash screen. If you chose to receive a disk, the latest version will be sent to you for an additional $5.00. In most cases, the version that you download will be current, and there is no need to receive the disk. If the version that you register is too old or has a fixed bug, a new version will be sent for free. If you register a Wave software product and wish to register another Wave software product in the future, there will be a discount of 15% on that product's registration fee. What are the differences between the registered and unregisterd versions? The shareware version is not crippled in any fashion. After many uses, the shareware version may start to "remind" you that it is time to register. These reminders are all well within the Associasion of Shareware Proffesional ("ASP") guidlines.
